Priced by vehicle for up to 5 guests — SUV 4,000 THB (10 hours) or 4,500 THB (12 hours), Mini-Van 4,500 THB (10 hours) or 5,000 THB (12 hours). Additional guests are 350 THB per person, and a private tour guide is an extra 1,500 THB for the 10-hour day.
If you’re staying in Khao Lak and want to see more of the island, I’d definitely recommend a day trip across the bridge into Phuket.
We’ll start with two of the island’s best-known sights, the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, before the rest of the day is yours to shape. Feeling like some shopping? I can take you to the markets or one of Phuket’s shopping centres. After more of an adventure? There’s a shooting range, ziplining, go-karting, the Bird Park, and shows at the Crocodile Farm, King Cobra, and Monkey Centre, plus the Trick Eye Museum if you fancy something different.
If it’s history and culture you’re after, Phuket Old Town is well worth the stop, with its rows of Sino-Portuguese shophouses and street art.
